Being as it’s a Friday we thought we’d have a bit of fun and road test one of our favourite new products– the Patrol Cap – here in the office! This is no ordinary uniform hat, as we have found out from a number of customers currently wearing these on street.
Uniform Cap Trial
Modernisation has played a big part in the transformation of our uniform caps and our stylish Patrol Cap has a more sophisticated, slimmer profile with a smaller non shiny-fabric peak. The cap is made from highly breathable, waterproof and quick drying fabric, and is much lighter weight fabric, giving more flexibility and comfort. Many customers have found this to be a relief from what they consider to be the old fashioned bulky, heavy and uncomfortable originals. This is a revolutionary product, yet easy to phase in with existing styles.
Feedback from our trials in the office highlights how comfortable the uniform cap is. A couple of our staff have been wearing the Patrol Caps throughout the day and report back – “It’s so comfortable I forgot I had it on till I looked in the mirror” and “It’s so comfortable I don’t want to take it off now!”
Not only that, we all think they looked very smart in their new headwear as well!

Designing Your Own Jacket, Vest or Bodywarmer
When designing your own jacket we suggest you pick one of our stock styles as a starting point (alternatively, look around our site and pick a bespoke jacket we've made for another customer, and let us know the changes you'd like to make). For the example below we have used the Two Tone Hi Vis PA Anorak with Removable Fleece as shown here.
You can then vary the garment in one or more of the following ways:
1. Change the colours (see image below for more information)
- Change the colour of the collar
- Change the colour of the top
- Change the colour of the bottom
2. Change the amount of reflective tape
We can add more reflective tape, or reduce/remove the reflective tape to suit your requirements. For large numbers of wearers we can provide different colours and patterns of tape, and we can even produce reflective tape with your organisation's name running through it.
3. Change the fabric
Choose between standard waterproof fabric, breathable waterproof fabric and Gore-Tex equivalent breathable high performance fabric.
4. Change the lining
- Lightweight unquilted lining
- Fixed quilted lining
- Zip-out quilted liner
- Detachable fleece jacket
- Detachable bodywarmer
5. Logo your garment
We can of course badge, embroider or print your jacket in any way you require - see our reflective badge and embroidery & badges section for more details
Minimum orders vary for each garment. For regular customers buying shirts, trousers & full uniform from us we often don't require any minimum order.
For customers with a large number of wearers we can provide free artwork to help you decide which design to go for. Please call for details.
