Just a quick note to say we hope all our customers have a great Halloween, you’re never too old to go trick or treating and dress up in ridiculous costumes.
Take for example our very own Amanda Reeves of our corporate wear department looking not quite herself in her recent Halloween party the weekend!
Have a great night, any weird and wonderful photos you can send us would be fantastic!
This year has flown by at Keltic, we can’t believe we are in the midst of autumn with winter on its way! This month has been a bit of a blur, however from a number of conversations with funeral directors across the uk, we know this is the perfect time to be thinking about your long woollen overcoats and top hats to keep the chill out over the cold months ahead. We are already rushed off our feet with a flood of orders going though for winter uniforms with more on the way!
From an array of comments from our many customers, we have been told our stock funeral overcoats and raincoats are ideal choices for winter, our wool and cashmere blend provides amazing warmth and comfort whilst achieving the smart look required for funeral directors. And in case we haven’t had enough rain this year, our funeral raincoat offers great protection from the elements.
Our range of winter accessories are also flying off the shelves, our top hats, gloves and knitwear are all great choices for added warmth. As well as our stock funeral wear ranges, our made to order specials have been increasingly popular this month. We can design and create the ideal uniforms unique to your firm for a personal touch this winter.
For further guidance on your winter uniform choices this year then talk to Claire on 08450666699 on how we can make this achievable.
Well done to Vicki who competed in the 20 mile fell run over the beautiful countryside of Edale in the Peak District.
Unfortunately due to the mislaying her favourite running trainers the morning of her race, she had to pay for the sore feet afterwards! However she kept smiling and achieved a great time to be proud of.
Keep posted for next challenges ahead!
There was a long list of very satisfied customers and brand new faces that attended our stand yesterday at the British Parking Association.
Just some of the great feedback received came from the likes of Perth and Kinross Council who ‘Love the white Patrol Shirts’, Dundee Council who will be trialling our innovative ParkVest next month and Fife Council who in April 2013 will be putting our Patrol Range to the test as they ‘meet their requirements inside out!’
Our staff uniforms always bring plenty of attention to our stand, along with the infamous business card competition which was won by the President of Parking Anjna Patel. In good faith she kindly auctioned the bottle of champagne off for her charity Parasol for injured soldiers.
And as for Mr Lines, he enjoyed a good game of curling and even met an Olympic Curling Team member!
Once again thank you for all the support and attendees to our stand yesterday, we very much enjoyed speaking to everyone.
What a day we have had on our stand today! Its been non-stop with a flood of friendly new faces and customers alike who can’t get enough of our innovative parking uniforms.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by today it has been lovely to meet and have a chat about your uniform requirements.
Stay tuned for further news tomorrow on who won our business card competition prize and a peek of our very own Ian Lines testing his hand at the sport of curling!
Take a look at the first preview of our uniform clothing stand ready for the British Parking Association event starting tomorrow.
If you can’t make out too much from our photo, why not come see us there tomorrow and see our stand for yourselves!
Come and have a chat about your uniform clothing, we will be more than happy to help and no doubt offer a few free cupcakes along the way!
Innovation is just some of the things we will be talking about this week at the British Parking Association in Scotland this Wednesday the 24th.
We design and develop all of our uniform wear with input from people who actually use the garments every day. The initial idea often comes about through feedback we receive – for example, we have just launched our new concept of our ParkVest after feedback that utility belts have caused strain on the backs of parking attendants.
The ParkVest is essentially a utility vest which incorporates printer holders and pockets to distribute the PA’s equipment evenly across the body, thus preventing long term sickness and making their job role more comfortable and effective. The challenge we have successfully met is to design very high quality technical garments at a price that the whole parking market can afford.
Also in the midst of the thick snow and ice we experienced last winter, we’ve launched a snow grip which fits on to all types of shoe and boot, providing much-needed additional grip and safety on snow and ice by means of special studs.
Our snow grips have numerous studs as well as chevron grips across the whole foot area. Other products on the market only cover part of the foot, or have less studs, and so can be less effective. Where health and safety is concerned, we only offer the most effective product.
Come and join us this Wednesday for an update on our latest and greatest ideas. We look forward to seeing you there!
Claire Manning of Keltic Clothing, one of SAIF’s newest members, tells us about her whirlwind month on funeral wear.
Wow! What a month! Having completed the brochure for our brand new range of funeral wear, I’ve been on the phone non-stop talking to Funeral Directors the length and breadth of the UK about their clothing needs! And boy are they keeping me busy!
As well as supplying hundreds and hundreds of traditional style striped trousers and black jackets, there are also some really different things happening out there, from navy blue uniforms to gold trimmed frockcoats!
We’re bringing on board an average of 10 new Funeral Directors every week, and they’re feeding back to us that they’re saving between 20 and 30% on their clothing budgets by moving to Keltic Clothing’s one stop funeral wear shop!
Other feedback we’ve received is that people love the fact they can get standard items like tailcoats, striped trousers and herringbone jackets delivered next day from stock – gone are the days of waiting weeks and weeks for delivery! People also love our wide range of ladies uniforms available – something that wasn’t easily available before we introduced it.
If any Funeral Directors out there would like to know what all the fuss is about, just give me a call on 08450 66 66 99 or email email@example.com.
Whilst we enjoy the colours of autumn not all of us are enjoying the chill that comes with it. Winter is definitely on the way! However we have some great corporate wear choices that will help you keep warm in the office and still provide a smart looking uniform.
The all new Jessica Cardigan launched this year is ideal to incorporate into any existing corporate uniform, with a white trim it offers a modern twist to a standard block coloured cardigan.
Or if it’s just a small added layer you are looking for why not opt for the Talia Tank Top in a unique diamond jacquard design.
For those looking for the classic chunky cardigan then the Kristin is for you, available in six different colours, this cardigan is ideal for everyone.
To see a sample of our knitwear ready for winter, call us on 08450666699 and ask for Charlotte. We look forward to hearing from you!
As the weather gets more miserable and the dark nights are drawing in earlier, Keltic thought we would try and cheer everybody up but giving you a 10% discount on any order placed on Monday 8th October.
It’s looks like we have a harsh winter ahead of us but luckily for your school crossing patrols we offer completely waterproof hi vis jackets at wallet friendly prices. The superior jacket would be especially good for harsh weather as it has reflexite tape on that can been seen up to 8 times further way. The tape is fully functional in the rain whereas the usual glass bead tape isn’t.
We will be showing a demonstration of this with our water booth at Road Safety GB in November.
If you would like to take us up on this offer please quote SCP10 on your orders. You can send your orders through to firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks
