Starting from today, Buckingham Palace will be hosting a 4 day festival to mark the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s Coronation. Taking place in the grounds of Buckingham Palace, over 200 firms will be showcasing there to promote the very best of UK firms across the country. Keltic are proud to be providing some of the event uniforms for the festival.
The girls at Keltic conquered Race for Life over the weekend and happy to say we reached our target of £500 and it’s still going up! Here’s how Keltic’s Race For Life went!
Keltic Race For Life! The girls of Keltic will be taking part this year in the Race for Life event for the charity Cancer Research UK. We will be braving the 5k run on the 29th June through the lovely Sutton Park and aim to raise plenty of money and support for this great charity.
Director David Barry and his trusty companion Mr Bones competed in a 4 mile run over the weekend raising money for the Different Strokes Charity. Enjoying the glorious weather we have been having, mid run they even managed to stop for a sneaky ice-cream break!
Its that time of year again where Race for Life springs up across the country for hundreds of women to take part and raise money for Cancer Reseach, the great charity that works towards defeating cancer once and for all!
Over the weekend I took part in the local Walsall Arboretum 5K event, completing this with my Zumba team and my mom! Together we raised nearly £200!
Watch this space for ‘Keltic Kadets’ taking part in June. Sponsor information and links to follow shortly so get ready to donate!
A nice fun story for the week, we are happy to welcome back a certain Mr. Bones the lovely Keltic mascot who has made another surprise visit in the office.
We’ve all had the pleasure of looking after David’s companion over the past few weeks, giving him plenty of walks and hugs.
We couldn’t resist taking a few pictures and sharing this little cutey on the blog!
Vicki Whitbrook of our uniform wear department took part in another great challenge recently at the Crossfit Spectrum.
Named the ‘Valentines Throwndown’ Vicki and her team of 2 girls went head to head vs 3 boys in 5 workouts across the whole day, from Olympic power lifting (how heavy can you get a weight from the ground to over your head), cardio based workouts with burpees, box jumps, kettle bell swings, squats, rowing and skipping.
Now in the month of February there is certainly a spring in our step for the coming months ahead. January flew by in a blur of new ideas and developments which are set to jump into action and come to life this spring.
Not wanting to give too much away, keep your eyes peeled over the coming months for further updates and previews of what’s to come.
Some of which include a dazzling new dress on our Corporate Wear Department, new stripes for our funeral directors and a brand new innovation on our Uniform Department all to do with getting the most from your uniforms!
2013 is certainly set to be a show stopper year!
January is always an exciting time for us at Keltic as there is so much to look forward to and plan for the New Year ahead.
This year will be a flood of new innovations, meetings and exhibitions, meeting existing and new faces and welcoming them to Keltic and our friendly team.
Just a few things to highlight our year will include Parkex this coming April and the National Funeral Exhibition in the summer with no doubt plenty more events and dates to add to the calendar.
We look forward to starting off with a bang and bring on what’s yet to come for a great and fun new year!
