As many of you know, Keltic Clothing stock for next day delivery, one of the best resources for Road Safety Education: the Street Feet Road Safety Training Kit. It is a product that we are particularly proud of as we know what a great resource it is for teaching children about road safety. We love it when we get to hear about people’s use of the kit with children in their community. That’s why we were thrilled when recently the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service recently informed us of the great work that they have been doing with one of our kits.
In these early stages of the new year there is a huge buzz surrounding colour trends. At Keltic we’ve been working our way through the industry colour reports as well as speaking to our manufacturers about the palate of 2017. In this article we’ll share with you the information that we’ve found!
In 2014 Keltic announced a competition. We wanted to find the longest serving School Crossing Patrols in the country. These SCP’s would be given awards and prizes in acknowledgement of their service. The competition turned out to be very popular. We received a huge number of entries, and the hard work of SCP’s all over the UK was recognised. Due to the popularity of the competition we have decided to do it all over again!
Happy new year to all of our customers! We hope you had a lovely Christmas! After a restful break the team at Keltic are enjoying getting back into the rhythm of working life. There’s one thing that we’re not so keen on, though – the cold! After the mild weather we had over the Christmas period, temperatures are plunging at the moment. With some really wintry weather on the horizon, you’ll want to double check that your staff workwear is resilient to the cold. In this article we’ll advise on the kinds of garments that could really make a difference to your staff uniform’s warmth and comfort. Firstly we’ll address outdoor wear (for security guards, wardens and SCPs) and then we’ll turn to indoor corporate wear.
Once again as a Keltic Tradition we have all dug out our Christmas Jumpers in the Aid of Charity, this year we are raising funds for the Save the Children Charity Appeal.
Save the Children’s Vision is a world in which every child attains the right to survival, protection, development and participation. They Aim to inspire breakthroughs in the way the world treats children, and to achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives.
This year alongside wearing a Christmas Jumper, we have all bought in some cakes and we are having a cake sale, as you can imagine there is a lot of cake, but it’s all for a good cause. We have also run a sweepstake to help increase the total fundraising amount.
Further to the fundraising instead of sending Christmas cards this year, we will be making a charity donation to St Giles Hospice, a local charity that gives specialist care and support free of charge to patients and families who are living with cancer and other illnesses.
At this point we’d like to take the time to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. This year has been one of great developments for us and our customers. We look forward to working with you in 2017!
With only a few weeks left till Christmas, we’ve all taken part in Secret Santa ready to exchange gifts and have a few laughs along the way.
This year to mix things up a little, we’ve all been given a letter of the alphabet to buy a present starting with the letter chosen. I’m sure there will be some weird and wonderful ideas in there!
Watch this space to find out who receives what and also keep your eyes peeled for our festive jumpers on the 16th of December for Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day.
In line with Road Safety week, we thought why not put up a short post to remind everyone of the great road safety products and school crossing patrol uniforms we have to offer! To celebrate we have just launched our brand new brochure! Collect your copy by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.

Not just educational props, we also strive to provide the best School Crossing Patrol uniforms on the market. Our Superior and Standard Stop Range of jackets, gloves and trousers offer the best visibility for Patrols when working in turbulent conditions through the winter.
And we couldn’t finish this post without a quick mention of RSGB which was a huge success again this year in Bristol. Thank you to everyone who visited out stand to say hello and share a cupcake. It was great to chat with new and existing customers.

Keltic Clothing are a specialist supplier of road safety and educational resources, cycle instructor uniforms and SCP clothing and equipment. We supply these to over two hundred local councils in the UK. Together with a number of these councils, this year we’ve been thinking about how to improve road safety training in Primary Schools. We have an exclusive new stock based product to help do this. After extensively researching the effectiveness of various methods of road safety training, we now stock (for next day delivery) a training resource based on our findings. We call this interactive Road Safety training kit Street Feet.
A School Crossing Patrol’s job can be tiring. They work in every weather, on their feet constantly, carrying around a particularly cumbersome object: a stop sign. Five years ago we set ourselves a mission to make SCP’s jobs easier. We decided to drastically improve the SCP stop sign. After a great deal of research on what would make the perfect stop sign, here’s what we came up with.
‘Does my body armour need to be CE-Marked?’ is a question that we hear time and time again from employers seeking body armour for their staff. The issue can be a little foggy, so we thought that we’d clear it up.
