Its finally here, the time when we all get involved in the festive fun. Kicking the festivities off today, we started our Keltic Secret Santa. Here’s how we did it:
Over a nail-biting few moments this afternoon we all picked a hat with a name inside. Everybody in the office was involved and watching on as we each selected a hat. Having all picked one, we now have the task of finding the perfect gift for our allotted person (and also keeping it a secret). What fun!
Very excitingly, Santa will be back to deliver all these gifts on Friday 19th December so keep your eyes peeled here, as we’ll show you all what we had!
We are proud to unveil our brand new work wear range: the ‘One’ Collection. Featuring a wide range of both Ladies and Mens garments, the ‘One’ Collection provides everything that you require for your staff uniforms.
It’s that time of year when we strive to give a little bit back. In aid of Children in Need, an amazing charity, we’re acting a bit silly in the office today! We have all dressed down for the day and are currently having our faces painted. Everybody who’s taking part is giving a donation to the brilliant charity, and making a small but real difference to somebody’s life!
What Do Children in Need Do?
The charity, which was started in 1980, raises huge amounts of money in order to change the lives of disabled children and young people in the UK. Known for their mascot Pudsey Bear, the charity has raised over £600 million since it began. This money has drastically improved the lives of countless people across the UK. What a great cause!
Dressing Down for Children in Need
Some of us didn’t even bother to get dressed before leaving the house and came to work in our PJ’s!
What an effort from Adam there!
Remember to Donate!
All of this silliness is in aid of a seriously good charity. Don’t forget to make your own donations to Children in Need so that this year can be their best year yet!
The Sophisticated Collection is our most loved range. As the name suggests, it is all about sophistication. Highly fashionable with an air of elegance, this is our bestselling collection of suiting for high-end roles. Today we unveil something exciting: we’ve added some brand new garments to this collection of corporate uniforms. Continue reading
Some of our yummy Gingerbread Parking People are on their way to a Macmillan coffee morning after we donated a batch to one of our customers.
Out in every weather, on their feet all day long, School Crossing Patrols do a great job. And an important one, too. They keep our children out of harms way on the roads, and help parents rest easy as their children walk to and from school. Valuing SPC’s very highly, we recently decide to launch a competition. We want to find the UK’s longest serving patrols.
It’s taken many early starts and a lot of hard training, but we did it! We completed Race For Life!
Race For Life is just around the corner! We’ve been training hard and we’re feeling fit and ready for it! Here’s just a quick thank you to all of our sponsors.
Parkex, the British Parking Association‘s flagship event is an important date in the Keltic calendar. This year was a tremendous success. Our new security workwear was an absolute hit! Thrilled with this, we thought we’d tell you a little bit about the day.
Keltic’s New Security Workwear
Well, we weren’t sure how the berets would go down, but it turns out they were a surprise hit! The new customer-friendly uniforms we have developed with NSL’s uniform working group, which will soon be hitting the streets on NSL’s Westminster contract, got a resounding thumbs up this week at Parkex. We debuted our stylish new high performance Ambassador jacket, our water-resistant next generation jumper/fleece replacement the Patrol Softshell, the technical moisture-wicking Patrol Shirt, and the hybrid combat/smart Patrol Trouser. I think it is safe to say that we have never had such a positive reaction at Parkex – not even for our pink parking people (who did put in another appearance this year, armed with candyfloss and gingerbread CEOs). There was even a qeue to get a closer look at the garments at one point!
The Next Phase in Parking Uniforms
All of our new security workwear uses advanced, technical fabrics, meaning that it is highly breathable and quick drying. It also means that by layering these garments up, you can also achieve excellent warmth without the usual bulk that is needed by less technical more old-fashioned fabrics. “It’s the same idea as ski-ing and snowboarding garments” says Keltic Director David Barry, “the layering of technical fabrics gives great movement and flexibility, but still keeps the wearer warm and comfortable. This is the next phase in parking uniforms. Garments designed by CEOs, for CEOs, giving them the comfort and movement they are used to from their own personal clothes, to work.”
The garments displayed will be available from the end of July. If you’d like a sample or any further information, please call our Parking Department on 08450 66 66 99. Or you can make an online enquiry here.
