As always, the new term is coming up fast. Schools around the country are gearing up for new challenges and new ventures. Perhaps you’re thinking about investing in some new educational resources. If so, have you heard about our road safety kit – Street Feet?
At Keltic we work really hard to fulfil the wishes and requests of our customers. Over recent months we’ve received feedback from hundreds of local authorities about the need for warm, waterproof and highly visible school crossing patrol gloves. The Stop Glove is the result of our efforts and we are very proud of it. Continue reading
For the last two weeks we have been watching eagerly as the School Crossing Patrol storyline unfolds. As you already know we have been watching Dennis Tanner and Steve McDonald come to blows. Last night we saw this storyline conclude and we got to see even more of Keltic’s school crossing patrol uniform on the screen.
We saw how Malcolm managed to get all the local School Crossing Patrols to join forces to try and save Dennis’s job….by barricading Steve in his own taxi! They told Steve they would only stop it if he confessed to Brian (the head teacher of his daughter’s school) that he was telling lies about Dennis.
Eventually Steve gave in and told the headmaster the truth. So it seems that Dennis has his job back.
Even though Dennis Tanners new job has caused him all sorts of trouble he really loves his it. We hope you have enjoyed the story as much as we have and that some of you recognised our jackets.
This week has been an exciting week for Keltic as we have been watching Dennis Tanner in our very own School Crossing Patrol Uniform. The storyline began with Dennis sneaking off to his new secret job to pay back Rita all the money he had been spending. It turned out that his new job was as a School Crossing Patrol Officer.
He was trained up by Malcolm who happens to be 87-year old Last of the Summer Wine actor Robert Fyfe. Dennis wasn’t able to keep his job secret for long when he was spotted by Steve McDonald. This started a massive rift between the pair which has seen Dennis stopping Steve unnecessarily and Steve banning Dennis from using his taxis.
However it seemed to be to be the last straw for Steve when Rita decided to play him at his own game refused to serve him in her shop.
Last night we saw Dennis lose his job after Steve lied to the school headmaster about Dennis shouting at the children. We have already seen Malcolm sticking up for his trainee and I am guessing he has something up his sleeve to help Dennis get revenge.
Will Steve withdraw his allegations? Keep watching out for our updates
I started speaking to Lance – head of costume design at Corrie a few months back about him using our school crossing patrol uniform. He decided in the end to use our yellow winter jacket, mountain hat and our high vision gloves.
We have all been watching the soap at Keltic and we hope you have enjoyed this storyline as much as we have.
Coronation Streets Dennis Tanner is still getting into mischief in Keltic’s School Crossing Patrol uniform.
This week we have seen Dennis Tanner and Steve McDonald’s rift get bigger. It started with Dennis stopping Steve unnecessarily with his new-found power as a school crossing patroller. This led to Steve banning Dennis from using his taxis.
Now Rita is involved and is refusing to serve Steve in her shop. Where will this end?
Who would have thought a school crossing patrol uniform could cause so many problems!
Keep a look out for more updates this week!
Did you see Keltic’s School Crossing Patrol uniform on Coronation Street last week? It was modelled beautifully by Dennis Tanner in his new “secret” job as a School Crossing Patrol person.
Last week we saw how Dennis had to find a job to pay back Rita. He takes on the role of a School Crossing Patrol person but it seems to have caused him a few problems with a certain Steve McDonald.
After discussing the options with Lance – Head costume designer for the soap. He decided on using our Yellow winter jacket, mountain hat and formal peaked hat and a pair of our high vision gloves.
Keep watching this week as the story line unfolds.
Take a look at the new addition to our Road Safety Education Range, brand new this week.
Over the past few months I have been busy speaking with hundreds of key buyers (as most of you already know!) and I would like to thank you all for your time.
The new addition to the Road Safety Education Range is the Belisha Beacon Set. The set is used to instruct children how to follow road safety procedures. We feel this is a great addition as research has shown that something lightweight and easy to move around is just what is needed. This set literally includes what is required and nothing else, which makes it ultra-portable – a bit of good news for all those keen cyclists out there!
We are still developing our Road Safety Education Range, and we have some great things in the pipeline – so watch this space.

It’s that time again! October is walk to school month and to celebrate we are giving away 10 free hi vis gymsacs for the first 10 newsfeed subscribers to call! Next month thousands of children across the world will be taking part in Walk to school.
What a great way to encourage children to walk! We at Keltic believe children are never too young to be taught Road Safety, after all it’s a known fact that children are like little sponges and learn by example so the more parents can get involved in events like this, the stronger the message.
Walking is great for your general fitness and your mental wellbeing. We here at Keltic will be setting the bar as all our staff here with children of school age will also be taking part!

It still stuns me to hear that over 19,000 kids are killed or seriously injured on our roads every year and great to hear that this number is a decrease from the previous year. At Keltic, we are dedicated to providing a top class service with top class information.
