Every now and again we get a product that just ticks all of the boxes. Today we unveil a such a product. It is our exclusive Magnum Safety Strider Boots. This brand new addition to our existing Strider Boot offers all of the same features, but with added composite toe and composite plate, for your protection.
What Makes Our Magnum Safety Strider Boots Different?
Your staff represent your company. This is why they must be attired suitably at all times. For many jobs, jackets are an important part of workwear, however company jackets vary hugely depending on the work profile and industry one is associated with. In many cases jackets need to be equipped with specific features or comply with certain safety standards. If you’re thinking of kitting out your staff with new jackets, we are on hand to make sure that you make the right decision.
Impressions matter a great deal in the corporate world – if you wear shabby and unimpressive clothes to work, you may be perceived in a negative way by your colleagues and bosses, even if your record is exemplary. In fact, many companies have made it mandatory to wear suits in the office. In this article we’ll explore the ways that wearing corporate suits can enhance the impression you make at work.
Some of our yummy Gingerbread Parking People are on their way to a Macmillan coffee morning after we donated a batch to one of our customers.
Parkex, the British Parking Association‘s flagship event is an important date in the Keltic calendar. This year was a tremendous success. Our new security workwear was an absolute hit! Thrilled with this, we thought we’d tell you a little bit about the day.
Keltic’s New Security Workwear
Well, we weren’t sure how the berets would go down, but it turns out they were a surprise hit! The new customer-friendly uniforms we have developed with NSL’s uniform working group, which will soon be hitting the streets on NSL’s Westminster contract, got a resounding thumbs up this week at Parkex. We debuted our stylish new high performance Ambassador jacket, our water-resistant next generation jumper/fleece replacement the Patrol Softshell, the technical moisture-wicking Patrol Shirt, and the hybrid combat/smart Patrol Trouser. I think it is safe to say that we have never had such a positive reaction at Parkex – not even for our pink parking people (who did put in another appearance this year, armed with candyfloss and gingerbread CEOs). There was even a qeue to get a closer look at the garments at one point!
The Next Phase in Parking Uniforms
All of our new security workwear uses advanced, technical fabrics, meaning that it is highly breathable and quick drying. It also means that by layering these garments up, you can also achieve excellent warmth without the usual bulk that is needed by less technical more old-fashioned fabrics. “It’s the same idea as ski-ing and snowboarding garments” says Keltic Director David Barry, “the layering of technical fabrics gives great movement and flexibility, but still keeps the wearer warm and comfortable. This is the next phase in parking uniforms. Garments designed by CEOs, for CEOs, giving them the comfort and movement they are used to from their own personal clothes, to work.”
The garments displayed will be available from the end of July. If you’d like a sample or any further information, please call our Parking Department on 08450 66 66 99. Or you can make an online enquiry here.
Champagne prize also up for grabs in our Wheel of Fortune!
Join in the fun at stand E40 at Parkex!!!
We are all set up at Parkex, and look forward to welcoming our lovely customers to our stand today! We will have Gingerbread CEOs, candyfloss, fairground amusements, and more importantly we will be asking your opinion on the future of parking workwear – a full range of garments which we have designed in conjunction with NSL’s uniform working group. They will shortly be worn by the UK’s largest parking operation, NSL’s City of Westminster contract.
Our Brand New Parking Workwear
The Ambassador jacket is a new lightweight jacket based on a snowboarding garment, with a stylish modern cut which gives excellent movement and comfort. The Patrol Softshell is the next-generation mid-layer garment – a big move-on from the Nato Jumper of old we think you’ll agree! The Patrol Shirt is a re-imagination of the traditional pilot shirt, taking inspiration from the sportswear market, and in particular, golf shirts and football shirts.
And with the Patrol Trouser, like with all these garments, rather than thinking “what is out there already that we can use for parking staff?” we have asked “what do parking staff actually want and need in 2014?”
Come and Say Hello!
We’re really excited about hearing all the feedback on these new designs! See you there, at stand E40 by the Parkex Cafe.
Don’t forget to come and join us as we get set to unveil the future of parking uniforms at parkex on the 10th and 11th of June.
We look forward to seeing you all there.
