Being as it’s a Friday we thought we’d have a bit of fun and road test one of our favourite new products– the Patrol Cap – here in the office! This is no ordinary uniform hat, as we have found out from a number of customers currently wearing these on street.
Uniform Cap Trial
Modernisation has played a big part in the transformation of our uniform caps and our stylish Patrol Cap has a more sophisticated, slimmer profile with a smaller non shiny-fabric peak. The cap is made from highly breathable, waterproof and quick drying fabric, and is much lighter weight fabric, giving more flexibility and comfort. Many customers have found this to be a relief from what they consider to be the old fashioned bulky, heavy and uncomfortable originals. This is a revolutionary product, yet easy to phase in with existing styles.
Feedback from our trials in the office highlights how comfortable the uniform cap is. A couple of our staff have been wearing the Patrol Caps throughout the day and report back – “It’s so comfortable I forgot I had it on till I looked in the mirror” and “It’s so comfortable I don’t want to take it off now!”
Not only that, we all think they looked very smart in their new headwear as well!

Welcome to our Alert Range of outerwear. These are hard-wearing uniform jackets for the security, warden and parking industries. Available in both long (anorak) and short (blouson) styles, these superb quality security jackets have all the features needed for these markets, such as epaulettes, radio loops and radio pockets. They are highly waterproof - more than twice as waterproof as the highest level of waterproofness at EN343 (Class 3) - click here for further information. Our Alert Anorak and Alert Blouson have an integral warm quilted lining. The security coat range includes EN471 Class 3 options (this standard requires the fabric to be fluorescent - click here for further information), and a wide range of colours to help your staff stand out from other workers. Every security jacket in this range carries the CE mark.

As well as being perfect for security jackets, the Alert Range is also ideal for parking jackets, however for On-Street parking, where staff are out in all elements for long periods, we would recommend our Patrol Range of security coats, which has an even higher level of waterproofness and breathability In Annex A, Table A.1 of EN343:2003 (the European standard for Protective clothing: Protection against rain) it is stated that staff that are exposed to extremes of temperature should not work for extended periods without Class 3 breathable clothing.
