Race For Life: The Keltic Kittens Did It!

It’s taken many early starts and a lot of hard training, but we did it! We completed Race For Life!

Our Day at Race For Life

We started off listening to some heart wrenching stories from both cancer survivors and those who have lost loved ones to cancer and it really put into perspective how important this charity and the work they do is. You can read all about the charity here, including where exactly donation money goes. It really is amazing.

With the sun thankfully shining we all joined in on a zumba warm up to get us ready to tackle the 5K course set out for us. With some slight inclines to get up and back down we all mixed it up with both power walking and jogging. Our time this year was a fantastic 35 minutes to the finish line.

Here’s the important bit – how much we raised for this amazing charity. We currently have our sponsorship total at £570, which we are thrilled with. That’s £70 over our target!
