The Youngest Gun In The West Midlands!
As reported in the Walsall Chronicle last week – Walsall Council has just employed their youngest school crossing patrol warden and Keltic clothing helped to get him started by providing our very own summer stop jacket from our school crossing patrol clothing range. 19 year old Ben Jeffery decided to become a school crossing patrol warden after taking the advice of his Grandad.
His Grandad used to work for the council himself and encouraged Ben to follow in his footsteps. Walsall Council have over 80 members of staff and the age range varies from 19 to 75. A massive 62 of the 80 patrols are under the age of 65. This proves the assumption wrong that all school crossing patrol staff are retired people
As well as supplying our local council , we also supply to over 100 other council with their school crossing patrol uniform. This number is growing every week. Councils are moving to Keltic because not only are we saving them a significant amount of money, we also have all our stock on the shelf for next day delivery.
